Hi, you two better just go ahead and pick out a really neat card for me because I am sending a card to you tomorrow! Caylyn came home today around 6 p.m.and she and Evan hugged and hugged...too sweet! I know she and Cathy are thrilled beyond words to be home..now Cathy can make that study of Daniel in the morning with Beth Moore, and hopefully I can have some time with Caylyn :)
Evan enjoys the nursery there with the other children. I am still planning to send a card from America to Shyla and Sanjay :)

anything? So if I write "Hi" on a paper plate and mail it out I'll get a postcard for that? Do I get better postcards for mailing creative items? What if I spray paint my name on a brick and mail you that? What if I bought a puppy and then shaved a message in his/her fur?

Surely some of this bar far more creative items than a simple letter deserve a response in kind?

it pays to proofread before I post... hopefully Meg doesn't read this as she always gets annoyed when I do that. Anyway, the last line should read, "Surely some of these far more creative items deserve a response in kind, not just a simple letter."

that what happens when I'm not in school anymore, I just get lazy...

That's pretty funny because I was just thinking... perhaps I will finally check out B and E's new blog. Then I read that post by my husband, and, sure enough, I was kinda annoyed... Would he really post something ON THE INTERNET for the WHOLE WORLD (all 5 of them who will read that post) to read and use to judge his very intellect? So glad he re-posted.

I will see what we can do about the whole mail thing... perhaps not a brick, but something!

oh my dear Josh & Meg, You might want to check ou the cost of mailings to Bangalore before you "open mouth, insert brick".. :) The cost of a single card or letter that costs 39 Cents to mail here, costs 84 cents to mail to India (and they WILL open it and inspect the contents)..I am thinking one brick would run between $84-$184 (just guessing), and could require questioning as to 'intent.' Hmmm, a puppy, even with a patch of missing hair, would likely run the cost of an airline ticket (only $734 presently at low rates.com), and would he/she make it thru customs? who knows, depending on the cute-ness probably...(If too cute, it could get 'held' for ransom...) This could get complicated...just go back to the original idea of a simple "hi", (on a tissue, paperplates could run higher..)and wait for your card from India and 'don't worry, be happy" with your souvenir :)

wow - who knew so many fun responses would come from a posting with our address?! What would happen if we posted a phone number or weather forecast or class schedule? Hmmm, dare I try it or just ponder the possibilities?

Brad, Be bold, be brave, don't ponder...go ahead and at least post your class schedule, and see what comments could transpire :)
