We are back!

We have arrived safely and soundly in Bangalore. Can't say that we didn't both wish the plane would have kept going back to the US, but it is at least nice to be back to familiarity. I begin a new class tomorrow morning on "Heidegger's Concept of God" (sounds more like Theology to me than Philosophy, but we'll see).

While in the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, and Richeleu, I did 49 dives and Elizabeth did 45 dives. We took an average of about 70 pictures PER DIVE... that's in the neighborhood of 3,000 pictures, PLUS what we took on dry land. It will take a little time to sort through those and pick out the goodies, but we will absolutely post them when we get the time to do that... Some are quite good and we are excited to share. Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, sting rays, manta rays (wow... manta rays!), lion fish, moray eels, and ghost pipe fish (very cool), and lots more to see.

We are taking today to relax. We've spent nearly the entire day in bed watching TV and movies (we finally got to see the Survivor finale today... I'm crushed that Ozzie lost). Tomorrow Indian reality will be upon us once again.

We hope to hear about all of your holiday adventures, as well, and I promise we'll both tackle our correspondence soon, too!

Namaste, Brad

So glad you are back safe and sound!!! I can't wait to see some pictures - I'm sure it was a fantastic adventure. I'm sorry the plane didn't keep heading towards the US as well. We miss you both tons. It was fun to try to figure out where you were...but a little like Where's Waldo since we didn't know your itenerary....which by the way you are not allowed to go somewhere again without leaving one with someone. Good luck getting back into the swing of things today. Talk to you soon. Love TJ

Yes, that would have been so great for that plane to keep on heading to the good ole USA...!! Perfect! Your car door is all repaired and I know you will be happy to hear that... :) Dad drove your Rubicon (Ruby) to work one day recently just to keep the fluids going thru & I think he felt really 'cool' driving it.. :) I am eager to enjoy those pictures too...but catch up on the school work first..love Mom

Well don't wish to fly back yet, this time will go by very quickly. It took so much time to get there, you might as well take your time there. It's not like you get to do these trips all the time.. even though you might?? I can't believe you're watching survivor in India, aren't you supposed to broaden your horizons with Bollywood? Glad to hear you had a good trip.

I always get nervous when the fishies and such get to close. I am so afraid of hurting them...and I'll admit that I do not want them hurting me either.

I still can't get over how you guys saw a leopard shark. You should have taken a picture of yourselves punching it in the face.
No I'm just kidding (hug the sharks! Hug the sharks!) but that is what Bill Murray would do.
